Methodia project · Rental marketplace

Coqudo. The local rental marketplace.

An app to rent out products and equipment and to find what you need nearby, from people, professionals and businesses, without having to buy it.

DigithON 2026 finalist

Two Coqudo app screens: the map of items to rent nearby and a listing with deposit and rental request

The product

From listing to return.

Things used rarely, temporary needs. Many things sit unused most of the time; those who need them for a few days often have to buy them. Coqudo connects the two needs through renting.

Listing

Listings with photos and videos, availability and deposit.

Search

What is available near you.

Requests and messages

Rental requests and messages between the parties.

Payments and transactions

Payments, deposits and the status of every rental.

The choices

Trust, payments and rental management.

When two strangers exchange an object and money, the product has to make it reliable: deposits, transaction status, exception handling. We built the app, backend and flows to support these interactions.

The experience

Building the product and building the market are two different jobs.

A marketplace lives when supply and demand meet at the same time and in the same area. That is why the work on Coqudo is also about the market, not just features.

Today

The product exists and keeps evolving. The priority is understanding which mechanisms bring supply and demand together sustainably, based on real signals.
